CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police report a tractor trailer rolled onto its side on I-80 at approximately 1:58 a.m. on July 13 in Clinton Township.

According to police, the accident occurred as James J. Judge, 62, of Woburn, MA was driving a 1997 Freightliner Conventional in the eastbound lane of I-80.

Judge traveled off of the south berm; impacting the ditch. The tractor trailer continued eastbound in the ditch for approximately 100 yards before rolling onto its side and coming to a final rest.

Police say Judge was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured in the crash.

Judge was cited with a Roadways Laned for Traffic violation.

Franklin PSP was assisted at the scene by the Clintonville Volunteer Fire Department.
