Virginia Lee “Ginny” (Young) Evans, 77, of McMurray, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2014.

She was the beloved Wife of 54 years to Ronald F. Evans; Loving Mother of Ronald D. (Donna) Evans of Mars, PA, Garret D. (Deborah) Evans of Gainesville, FL, and Robin L. Evans of Mt. Lebanon, PA; Dear Sister of Lois (Willard) Burns of Franklin, PA and the late W. Dwayne Young; Cherished Grandmother of Corinne T., Daniel T., Jacob C., Callen G. Evans, and the late William S. Evans; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter H. and Gladys A. Young. Ginny enjoyed gardening, painting, and traveling, but her true joy was spending time with family and friends.

Funeral arrangements by Beinhauers, 724-941-3211. Friends are welcome at 2828 Washington Road, McMurray on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where a service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m.

Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Gardens.

The family suggests that contributions in memory of her grandson, William Evans, be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, River Walk Corporate Centre, 333 E. Carson Street, Suite 441, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
