Helen Marie Minnick Blauser

 title=Helen Marie Minnick Blauser, 91, formerly of Seneca and a resident of Golden Living Center in Oil City, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 4:08 a.m. Thursday July 17, 2014.

Helen was born in Curllsville on September 27, 1922, a daughter of the late John A. and Grace Irene Anthony Minnick

She was married to Wilmer S. “Wimp” Blauser on May 19, 1945, in Monroe. He preceded her in death on January 26, 2005.

Helen graduated from Sligo High School.

She was a member of Seneca United Methodist Church.

Helen was a member of a local Homemakers and Card Club. She enjoyed reading, traveling, sewing, shopping and bird watching. She was also a good seamstress and good cook. She was a dedicated homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother.

One son, Kim S Blauser and wife Kimberly of Seneca survive her.

One sister, Louise Gathers of Sligo, also survives her.

Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, Cindy Wheeler and husband Matt of Richmond VA, Mary Kim Hatala and Tommy of Richmond VA, Stephanie Ledsome and husband Brian of Fairmont WV, Amanda Engles and husband Rich of Seneca, Timothy Cubbon and wife Andrea of Brockway, Rachel Britton and husband Brian of Oil City, John, Keith and wife Kylee, Renee and Theresa Blauser of Oil City.

Survivors also include 20 great grandchildren, Jessica, Rebecca, Carter Jude of Richmond VA, Cari Karr and husband Chad of Richmond VA, Jacob Hatala of Richmond VA Kandace and Kyle Ledsome of Fairmont WV, Emilee Engles of Seneca, Taylor Raybuck, Connor Cubbon,, and Tatum Cubbon of Brockway, Jaxson Britton of Oil City, Ricky Ware, Nathan and Katlyn Winger, Brennen and Abbigaille Blauser, Tricia Blauser, Autumn Page of Oil City and Phillip Schneider of Cooperstown.

Also survivors include 3 great-great grandchildren, Lucas, Easton and Holden of Richmond, V A
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, John Sheldon and Thomas Harlan Blauser, a grandson Jodi Sheldon Blauser and a brother Charles Howard Minnick.

Family and friends are welcome from 12 noon to 2 pm Saturday at the Morrison Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 2 pm with the Rev. William Hastings, pastor of the Seneca United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Cranberry.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Activity Fund at Golden Living Center Oil City.
