Barbara A. Reid, 68, of Grandview Rd. Oil City passed away Monday July 21, 2014 unexpectedly at her home.

Born Jan. 4, 1946 in Oil City, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence & Alice King Reid, and the stepdaughter of Edward Sralko.

Barbara was a 1964 graduate of Oil City High School.

Upon graduating, she was employed at Eckerd Drugs Store until she began her banking career at NorthWest PA Bank which later became Mellon Bank.

Barb later worked for First National Bank in Hermitage and retired from First United National Bank in Fryburg.

She was a devoted daughter and took care of her parents in their elder years.

Barb was a Disney enthusiast and vacationed there every year.

She enjoyed baking.

Barb is survived by her sister, Mary Lou Cardy and her husband Richard of Stoneboro; a brother, Richard Stralko and his wife Mary Anne of Greenville; a nephew, Colin Dickson and his wife Roberta of Greenville; and their children Isabel and Evan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather.

Friends will be received from 4-7 P.M. Thursday in the Reinsel Funeral Home

Private Commital Services will be held at Calvary Cemetery on Friday with Rev. Justin P. Pino, Presiding.
