Barbara I. Dodds, 61, of Oil City, died Monday, July 7, 2014, at St. Vincent Health Center in Erie.

Born July 1, 1953 in Franklin, she was a daughter of the late Harold E. and Gladys E. File Dodds.

Barb had worked at the Oil City Presbyterian Home, volunteered at UPMC Northwest and for the last four years worked for GECAC in the Senior Employment Program at the Lifelong Learning Center in Siverly.

She was a member of the Hasson Heights Community Church.

Barb is survived by numerous cousins; special friends, Lisa and Dan Vogus, and Jo Ann Foust and Sophia; and her Godson, John David Vogus.

A Committal service was held at Grove Hill Cemetery on July 14th.

A Memorial service will be held in the Hasson Heights Community Church on Thursday, July 31st, at 11 am with the Rev. Jamie Fowler, pastor, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Hasson Heights Community Church, 21 Fairview Ave, Oil City.
