Police: Man Returns from Hospital Stay, Discovers Theft at Farm in Limestone Township

LIMESTONE TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a theft occurred at a farm located past Charles Tool, on Olean Trail, in Limestone Township, Clarion County.

According to police, a 62-year-old Clarion man was loading his truck at his farm located on Olean Trail Road, and as he was putting an I-beam inside the bed of his truck, he broke his back.

After he went to the hospital around 3:20 p.m. on July 14, he came back to the farm around 6:00 p.m. on July 19.

The I-beam was missing from his truck, and he looked around and discovered that a green 150 gallon tank, with Kephart Trucking written on the side, was missing. There were also two sledge hammer heads missing.

The case remains open pending more investigation.
