Venus Woman Injured in Franklin Crash

FRANKLIN, Pa. (EYT) — Around 4:01 p.m. on July 30, Sugarcreek Police Department was dispatched to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection at Allegheny Blvd., at the entrance to Burger King, in Franklin, Venango County.

Police say Michael Ferry, of Utica, and Brenda Deloe, of Venus, were involved in the collision.

According to police, Ferry’s vehicle struck the rear of another southbound vehicle driven by Deloe.

Ferry refused medical treatment at the scene, police say.

Community Ambulance Service transported Deloe and an unidentified male passenger to UPMC for injuries of unknown severity.

Rocky Grove Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Police say the accident remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
