Phyllis A. Sloan, 74, of 127 Vine St., Marienville and Osteen, Florida, passed away Wednesday ( July 30, 2014) at Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys.

Born January 2, 1940, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Alta Parsons Ross. On May 25, 2002, in Tionesta, she married Gilbert “Gib” Sloan who survives.

Phyllis was a nurse and assistant director of nursing at Erie County Medical Center in Buffalo, NY.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Steve (Lynn) Ingraham of Buffalo; a daughter, Cathy Fragale of Amherst, NY; and two granddaughters, Casey Ingraham and Christina Ingraham.

Funeral services will be held in Clarion at the convenience of the family.
