bath-saltsST. MARYS, Pa. — Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane today announced charges against four alleged drug dealers accused of distributing bath salts, a powerful and highly addictive synthetic drug, throughout St. Marys.

The charges are the result of an investigation between the Office of Attorney General’s North Central Municipal Drug Task Force and Elk County District Attorney Shawn McMahon’s office, resulting in the seizure of more than 943 grams of bath salts with an estimated street value of $200,000.

Following the arrest of William Dilley and Jacob Dilley on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, law enforcement gathered intelligence that led to a search warrant for the delivery of a package of bath salts to an undisclosed location, seizing an additional 105 grams of bath salts worth $20,000.

William Dilley received $25,000 unsecured bond and Jacob Dilley received $50,000 straight cash bond. Co-conspirators Jeremiah Dilley and Abby O’Rourke are currently incarcerated and will be arrested in the near future.

Attorney General Kane thanked the St. Marys Police Department for its assistance with the investigation, as well as Elk County District Attorney Shawn McMahon’s office, which is prosecuting.
