Mary Lou (Sanger) Brown, age 89, of Erie passed away Sunday August 3, 2014 in Clarion, PA. Born March 25, 1925 in Erie, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Crissman) Sanger.

Mary Lou was a former member of Perkins and Westminster Presbyterian Churches. She was a devoted wife and mother. Mary Lou enjoyed golfing, bird watching, traveling and was an avid reader. She will be greatly missed by her family.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Dale O. Brown, who passed away in March of 2006. They were married on July 3, 1948.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Linnan, husband Tony, of Clarion; a son, David Brown, of Parma Heights, OH; and four grandchildren, Michol McBee, husband Matthew, Patrick Linnan, Trenton Brown, and Trevor Brown.

Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th St. at Greengarden Boulevard.

Services will be held there on Friday at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
