Glenna K. Riddle

untitled-275Glenna K. Riddle, 90, a resident of 674 Grant Street, Franklin died peacefully at 12:25 AM Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in Sugarcreek Station; following a period of declining health.

She was the daughter of Samuel L. Logan and Olive Morrison Logan.

Glenna graduated from Oil City High School with the Class of 1942. Later, she attended the former Oil City Business School.

She was married to Robert S. Riddle; who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Riddle had worked in the Personnel Department of Polk Center, and then at the Venango County Board of Assistance office; retiring in 1984. Following her retirement, she and her husband had lived in Estero, FL during the winter months for more than 21 years.

As she was able, she enjoyed bowling, golf and playing cards. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. She will be always remembered by her family as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Riddle is survived by three children: James L. Riddle and his wife Alice of Scottsdale, AZ, David L. Riddle and his wife Shirley of Seneca and Kathy Riddle of Franklin. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Logan Riddle of Dallas, TX, Matthew Riddle of Venice, FL, Daniel Riddle of Hollywood, CA, Gabriel Henderson of Franklin, Nickolas Henderson of San Diego, CA, Kaitlin Henderson Griffin of Franklin, Brian Ishman of Seneca and Melanie Bailey of Torrance, CA.

Also surviving are 11 great-grandchildren; in addition to many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

In accordance of her wishes, there will be no public visitation.

Family and friends may call Friday 12 NOON until 1 PM in the Fox Street Church of God, 229 Fox Street, Rocky Grove. A memorial service, in celebration of her life, will be conducted Friday at 1 PM in the church with Reverend Lonnie Wolford, pastor officiating.

Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery.
