Man Charged with Public Drunkenness After Allegedly Crawling Under Tree, Covering Up with Branches

CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a 50-year-old man was charged with Public Drunkenness following an incident at the intersection of Greenville Pike and Sun Lane, in Clarion Township.

According to police, local residents allegedly observed 50-year-old Richard M. McCreary, of Emlenton, crawl under a tree and cover himself up with branches.

Upon State Police arrival, he was allegedly found to be intoxicated.

A charge of Public Drunkenness was filed against him in District Court 18-3-01.
