Sherri was primarily a homemaker, who adored spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren. She enjoyed their yearly trips to the beach, provided by her mother, Twila and looked forward to finding yard sales and restaurants featured on the cooking channels.

Sherri had been an active member of the First Baptist Church of Clarion since 1966, making her the fifth longest living member. She loved reading her Bible, worshipping the Lord, and being with her Share and Care group at the church.

She looked forward to the Autumn Leaf Festival every year, especially the Farmers and Crafters day. This year, Sherri was anticipating going to her 40th high school class reunion with her good friend Sue Baumcratz.

Sherri is survived by her husband, Randy Leadbetter of Clarion; her mother, Twila Walters of Clarion; her son, David Luton and his wife Janna of Houston PA; her daughter, Melissa “Missy Beggs and her husband Jared of Clarion; and her four grandchildren, Brianna and Megan Luton, and Hannah and Brody Beggs. Sherri is also survived by her two brothers, Richard “Rick” Walters and his wife Laura of Cranberry Township PA, and David “Dude” Walters and his wife Linda of Clarion; as well as several nieces and nephews and many close friends.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father and her first husband.

Sherri’s family would like to acknowledge the care provided by Maria, Kate, Barb, and the rest of the staff at Clarion-Forest VNA. They are also grateful to Dr. Cunningham and her staff at Internal Medicine and Dr. George Sokos at AGH for the great care they have given Sherri.
