Three People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Route 322

PAINT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a two-vehicle accident occurred around 3:58 p.m. on August 16, on State Route 322, in front of Dairy Queen, in Paint Township, Clarion County.

Police say 26-year-old Justin M. Barr, of Shippenville, and 51-year-old Martin J. Button, of Clarion, were involved in the collision.

This crash occurred as Button was stopped waiting to turn left into the parking of of Dairy Queen.

At this time, Barr failed to stop his 1996 Saturn STN Wagon and struck Button’s 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue.

Barr’s vehicle came to rest on the right side of the roadway, and Button’s vehicle proceeded into the parking lot of Dairy Queen and struck a block wall.

Barrn was using a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.

A 3-year-old male passenger in Barr’s vehicle also suffered minor injuries. According to police, the child safety seat was used improperly.

Button was also using a seat belt and suffered minor injuries.

Shippenville Ambulance transported him to Clarion Hospital Emergency Room.

Barr was charged with a traffic violation.
