James “Bones” Greaves

James “Bones” Greaves, 53, of Kennerdell passed away August 18, 2014 at the Clarion Hospital unexpectedly of natural causes.

Born February 2, 1961 in Butler he was the son of Paul and Alice Greaves.

James received his education from Moniteau High School.

James was employed at the Golden Living Center in Clarion on floor care.

James was previous employed for the carnival and had traveled throughout the United States and the world working for them.

He was a very proud and hardworking man, his kind heart and sense of humor will be missed.

Julie would save the crossword and Sudoku puzzles from the paper for him every day.

He loved to spend time with Abigail, Summer and Skyler. He enjoyed mowing the grass also.

Surviving is his girlfriend whom he made his home with Julie Fertig of Kennerdell, Her children Frank Fertig Jr., and his wife Cherish of Utica and Amanda Fertig of Kennerdell. Julies brothers and sisters Daniel Keverline and his wife Sharon of Kennerdell, Rick Keverline and his wife Sherry of Kennerdell, Kelly Whiling and her husband Mike of Kennerdell. James’ brother and sisters Glen Greaves of Grove City, Don Greaves of Butler, Charles Greaves of Knox, Ruth Greaves of Polk, Rich Greaves of Grove City, Laurie Greaves of TN.

He is proceeded by his parents and a sister Doris and a brother of Paul Jr. Greaves.

Family will receive friends at the Larry E. McKinley Funeral Home, 109 Emlenton Street, Clintonville PA on Thursday August 21, 2014 from 6-8 pm.

The family suggests donations be sent to the funeral home to help defray funeral cost.
