Clarion Holiday Inn to Undergo Significant Upgrades

VFMLID=49275650CLARION, Pa. – GreatStay Hospitality Partners, LLC, a new Pittsburgh-based hospitality company, has purchased four Holiday Inn properties in western Pennsylvania, including one in Clarion, marking the company’s first venture. .

GreatStay has enlisted Horizon Hotels Ltd. of Eatontown, NJ to manage the properties, which are located in Clarion, Beaver Falls, Uniontown, and Indiana, Pennsylvania.

All four properties will be significantly upgraded to reinstate each hotel as a destination for social gatherings, celebrations, company events and other occasions for locals and travelers alike. Special attention will be focused on the food and beverage departments by presenting an exciting bar and lounge atmosphere for guests to enjoy, totally new restaurants offering exceptional dining with a local theme, fun themed events that will feature local entertainment, catering and event services in redesigned ballrooms and the reintroduction of family holiday dining at the properties.

“Each of these properties are the only full-service hotels in each area; they have historically been the go-to destination for events and celebrations. We’re excited to rejuvenate the hotels, greatly improve the service and quality of each location and transform them into once again being the hospitality headquarters for the region,” said Matthew Shollar, the Pittsburgh-based partner for GreatStay Hospitality.

The new design work is being provided by hospitality focused JMAC Architects and remodeling will be performed by national hotel specialists Cicero’s Development Corporation. The Beaver Falls property is the first slated for completion, with many improvements scheduled by September 2014.

“We’re eager to unveil the new and improved properties and we’re even more eager for our guests to experience the upgrades,” said Cindy Olcott, President of Horizon Hotels, the management company of the four hotels. “Between the renovations, décor, restaurant and event and catering services, each property will once again be the ‘hospitality headquarters’ in their community.”

Specific details on upgrades slated for Clarion Holiday Inn have not been released.
