The program helps inventors and small businesses transform an idea into a product ready for the marketplace. Funding comes from Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development.
Four entrepreneurs will be awarded funds:
• Dr. William Barnes, Angel Anchor, LLC (Clarion County), $10,000
• Alex Parrish, 4-Bond Advanced Materials, LLC (Clarion County), $15,000
• Donald Smith, TruCrown, Inc. (Crawford County), $7,500
• Jake Loosararian, Gecko Robotics, LLC (Mercer County), $15,000
To be eligible for the funding, innovative individuals and/or companies must have fewer than 15 employees and be located in northwestern Pennsylvania. Potential applicants for the next round of funding are invited. Applications are due October 31.
