Police: Vehicle Drags Lawn Mower 75 Feet, Flees Scene

PAINT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Clarion have released details on a recent hit-and-run at business along State Route 322.

Police say the accident happened in the parking lot of Tom’s Sales & Service on August 16, around 5:00 a.m.

According to police, an unknown vehicle traveling west on State Route 322 entered the parking lot and attempted to turn around.

While doing so, a trailer attached to the vehicle impacted a Husqvarna Zero Turn Lawn Mower, causing the lawn mower to become wedged under the trailer.

The vehicle dragged the lawn mower 75 feet in a Northern direction towards Route 322 and fled the scene.
