SAFE Offering Free Volunteer Counselor/Advocate Training

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) — SAFE (Stop Abuse For Everyone) is in need of both men and women from the community to stand up for the victims of this crime and say NO MORE domestic violence in Clarion County.

The community can help victims by covering hotline, helping at shelter, assisting with prevention programs, transportation, fundraising, or child care.

SAFE is offering a free, 40-hour volunteer counselor/advocate training from September 16, 2014, until November 14, 2014,

Classes are every Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the SAFE Office located at 1302 East Main Street in Clarion, Pa. (located across from Sheetz.)
