Orange-Chocolate Cheesecake — A delicious blend of citrus flavor and chocolate!

Orange-Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients

12 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon orange extract
1 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 — 9″ chocolate crumb crust

Topping:
1-1/2 cups sour cream
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 — 11 oz. can mandarin oranges, drained
additional chocolate chips for garnish

Directions

~Preheat oven at 375°.

~In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, beat on low speed just until combined. Stir in salt and orange extract just until blended. Fold in chocolate chips.

~Pour filling over crust. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and increase temperature to 425°.

~In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, sugar, and vanilla; spread over cheesecake. Bake 5 minutes longer. Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes.

~Refrigerate overnight. Just before serving, garnish with additional chocolate chips.

~Makes 8 servings.
