State Police Seek Public’s Help in Finding Scrap Metal Thief

KINGSLEY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Marienville-based State Police say a theft of scrap metal occurred on German Hill Road, approx 1/10 mile west of Church Hill Road, in Kingsley Township, Forest County.

According to police, sometime between 4:00 p.m. on August 18 and 12:00 p.m. on August 20, an unknown perpetrator(s) entered onto the property of an 85-year-old Tionesta woman and removed miscellaneous scrap metal from a location behind a storage building in the rear of the property.

The perpetrator(s) fled in an unknown direction, police say.
