PINEGROVE TWP.,Pa. (EYT) – A 31-year-old Venus woman is facing Simple Assault and Harassment charges following an alleged incident along Dutch Road on August 21.

Franklin-based State Police say Meranda Millard, 31, of Venus, allegedly struck a 33-year-old Venus man numerous times with her hands and feet.

As a result, police say the victim sustained numerous moderate bodily injuries.

The accused was charged with 1 count each of Simple Assault and Harassment.

Millard was lodged in the Venango County Jail after failing to post bail, according to court documents.

A preliminary hearing is set for August 27.
