Police Release Details on Man Accused of DUI While Operating Commercial Vehicle

BEAVER TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a DUI arrest was made on Interstate 80 eastbound, at mile marker 56 scale, in Beaver Township, Clarion County.

According to police, around 6:55 a.m. on August 7, Denny Michael Weaver was stopped at the weigh station for his vehicle being overweight.

An inspection was conducted, and Weaver was allegedly found to have alcohol emitting from his mouth and was submitted to a PBT (Preliminary Breath Test) which met with positive results, according to police.

Weaver was then transported to Clarion Hospital for a blood test, police say.

He was charged with DUI While Operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle, along with several Summary violations.

Charges will be filed at 18-3-03 office in Knox.
