12-year-old Clarion Boy Injured in Car vs. Bike Accident

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – A 12-year-old boy was injured after the bicycle he was riding was struck by a car in Clarion Borough yesterday afternoon.

Clarion Borough Police say the accident happened around 4:35 p.m. at the intersection of Jefferson Place and Main Street.

According to Police, a 12-year-old male, of Clarion, operating a bicycle was struck by a Dodge Neon operated by William Culbertson, 59, of Shippenville.

Police say the boy suffered a knee injury in the accident.

Culbertson’s car sustained hood damage.

He was not injured in the collision.

No charges have been filed against Culbertson as of Thursday morning.
