Christopher Lee Crawford, age 25, of McGrann, formerly of New Bethlehem, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning, August 30, 2014.

Born May 9, 1989 in Kittanning, he was a son of Michelle Miller Walker and James P. Walker of New Bethlehem and the late Robert C. Crawford, who preceded him in death on June 20, 2004.
Chris worked in maintenance and attended the Oakland Church of God in Distant in the past.

In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by his brother and sisters, nieces and nephews: Nathan A. Crawford of McGrann; Trisha Toy and her husband, Brody, of Kittanning and daughter, Claire; Lindsey Strength and her husband, Robert of New Bethlehem and children, Sophie and Mark; Ashton Walker of Aliquippa and son, Donnie and Savannah Walker of New Bethlehem.
Chris is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Florence Dinger of Adrianne; paternal step grandmother, Doris Walker of Apollo; paternal grandparents, Donald and Brenda Shilling of Kittanning and Evelyn Crawford of New Bethlehem.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfathers, Dale Crawford and Robert Walker.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service Chapel, 233 Penn Street, New Bethlehem.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with the Reverend Mark Pollock officiating over the service.

Interment will follow in the North Freedom Cemetery, Jefferson County.
