Aaron Edward ( Carp ) Carpenter, 41, formerly of Rocky Grove, died unexpectedly on Monday August 18, 2014 in Erie.

Born in Marion , Ohio on July 28, 1973 son of the late Daniel and Peggy Downs Carpenter. At an early age his parents passed away, He was raised by an Uncle and Foster parents.

He was a 1991 graduate of Rocky Grove High School.

Previously , He worked for Dale Green building Air Compressors and by Erie Hard Chrome, Inc.

Aaron had a mechanical ability, He could fix anything. He enjoyed Cars, Music and Electronics.

He is survived by Uncles Tom and Ed Downs and an Aunt Carol Shering and by His friends Jill and William Docherty, Greg Leige, Penny Andrews , His foster Dad, AJ Phillips and his foster brother A.J. Phillips Jr. and many other friends.

Along with his parents He was preceded by uncles Earl and Michael Downs and his step-mother Peggy Phillips.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday Sept. 6, 2014 at the Reinsel Funeral Home & Crematory from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Donations are being accepted at the Funeral Home to help defray expenses.
