CLARION TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say a hit and run crash occurred on Interstate 80 East, at approximately mile marker 67, in Clarion Township.

According to police, this crash occurred around 11:15 p.m. on August 28, as an unidentified vehicle was traveling in the right lane and was being passed by a 2015 Freightliner, driven by 31-year-old Mark W. Meyer, of Louisville, KY, which was traveling in the left lane.

As the Freightliner traveled along side the unidentified vehicle, the vehicle crossed the centerline and struck the Freightliner’s passenger side mirror.

After impact, the unidentified vehicle failed to stop.
