Kathryn (Kay) Hendershot, 67, of Elizabethville, died at her home on Tuesday Sept. 2, 2014.

She was the daughter of C.Loren and Hazel Hendershot. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles. She is survived by a sister-in-law Wanda Hendershot, an aunt, numerous cousins and her dear friends, Tom and Nancy Hackenburg.

Kay was a member of Pleasant View Seventh Day Adventist Church. She was a nursing home administrator at The Kepler Home, Elizabethville and Penn Lutheran Village, Selinsgrove. She retired from PA Department of Aging and was co-owner of Kay-Nan Therapies.

There will be a viewing on Monday Sept. 8 from 10 to 11 am at the Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Elizabethville. Services will begin at 11 am with burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville.
