OI1260932916_pattyhornePatricia Anne Horne, 63, of 325 Bissell Ave. Oil City, PA. passed away at 4:30 P.M. Thursday in her home following a period of declining health.

Born on Sept. 16, 1950 in Oil City, PA., she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Martin & Patricia L. Deemer Hargenrader Martin.

She attended St. Joseph Grade School and Venango Christian High School and was a 1968 graduate of Oil City Senior High School.

Pat was a member of St. Stephen’s Church.

Mrs. Horne belonged to the Pulaski Club, was a member of the V.F.W. and Moose Auxilliary and had also belonged to the Belles Lettres Club.

She enjoyed any kind of card game and was always ready for a good game of 500.

Pat participated in the aquatics programs at the YMCA, and throughout the years enjoyed taking the kids & grandkids to the Oil City pool.

Pat was employed for many years at Hanna Transfer in Oil City as a secretary, and had worked several years for John Deemer Construction as a secretary.

On Dec. 5, 1970 she married William J. Horne in St. Joseph’s Church and he survives along with 1 daughter, Diane Miller of Franklin & her son Tyler Miller; 1 son William J. Horne II & his wife Angie; and her children Justin & Kayla Fagley; 1 Sister Kay Spence of Jamestown, PA; 1 sister-in-law Jackie Hargenrader of Oil City; a niece Marcia White & her husband Steve.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Ernie & Eugene Hargenrader and a brother-in-law Bill Spence.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 P.M. Sunday in the Reinsel Funeral Home

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Monday at St. Stephen’s Church with Rev. Matthew Ruyechan, Pastor, Presiding.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Patty’s name to the Funeral Home to help the family defray funeral expenses.
