RICHLAND TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Clarion have released details surrounding a four-vehicle accident on Interstate 80 Eastbound near mile marker 47.Police say the accident happened on September 5 around 11:26 a.m. when a 2010 Toyota Tundra operated by Tammy Miles, 34, of Cabot, Pa., failed to see a stopped 2013 Mack truck operated by John Keller, 54, of Womelsdorf, Pa.
Police say Miles truck subsequently rear-ended Keller’s truck.
Following the initial collision, a 2005 Ford F-350 operated by Erik Irwin, 30, of Harrisville, swerved into the left passing lane and collided with Miles’ vehicle and Keller’s vehicle.
A fourth vehicle, a 2004 Dodge Ram operated by Anthony Zwigart, 72, of Clarion, failed to stop for the initial collision and rear-ended Miles’ vehicle.
All parties involved in the accident escaped injury.
Miles, Irwin, and Zwigart were cited with speeding violations.
