Police say the collision involved Barbara E. Carr, 84, of Emlenton, driving a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country, and Eric S. Phillips, 34, of Erie, driving a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.
The crash occurred as both Carr and Phillips were traveling north on SR 8, approximately two miles north of SR 308.
According to police, Carr attempted to change lanes and allegedly struck Phillips’ vehicle, causing it to roll over.
Phillips was extricated from his vehicle and transported to UPMC Northwest by Community Ambulance for treatment of unknown injuries, according to police.
Carr and her passenger, Richard L. Carr, 85, of Emlenton, were both wearing seat belts and escaped injury in the crash.
Carr was cited with a Turning and Movements and Required Signals violation.
State police were assisted at the scene by Clintonville VFD, Clintonville QRS, Community Ambulance, Hovis Auto Wrecking, and the PA Game Comission.
