League of Women Voters Mixer Set for September 16

CLARION, Pa. — The League of Women Voters of Clarion County invite all who are interested in learning about this non-partisan organization to attend a wine and cheese celebration at Michelle’s Café in Clarion on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, at 7:00 p.m.

We will be celebrating 94 years of voting rights for women by socializing and learning more about the League and local leaders through activities.

In addition to the activities, two prizes will be given. Members who have paid their 2014/15 annual dues will qualify for one prize and new members will qualify for the other.

The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization dedicated to promoting democracy in America and raising awareness of the need for greater citizen participation in the democratic process.
