WARREN COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – A 72-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Warren County on Sunday.

Warren-based State Police say the accident occurred around 4:10 p.m. on Route 27 when a northbound 2014 Kia Sorenta operated by Laurie Steber, 54, of Sugargrove, traveled into the southbound lane and collided head-on with a 2010 Chevrolet Aveo operated by Jeanette Ickes, 72, of Youngsville.

Ickes was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Warren County Coroner.

Steber was transported to Warren Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Police continue to investigate the crash.
