Loretta A. Brownt4Loretta A. Brown, 92 , of 360 Halyday Run Rd, Oil City, died peacefully Friday, September 12, 2014, at UPMC Northwest in Seneca.

Born August 3, 1922 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Chester and Helen Moore Clark.

Mrs. Brown attended Oil City High School.

She was a welder at Manions during WWII and retired from Pennzoil where she worked as a mail clerk.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

She had an interest in plants and animals and enjoyed gardening.

On May 22, 1951 she married Ronald A. Brown, who preceded her in death on September 19, 2009.

Surviving are four children, Dennis Mylarski and his wife Sharon of Oil City, Paul Brown and his wife Jeri of Oil City, Terry Brown of Minneapolis, MN, and Dianna Mylarski of Oil City; seven grandchildren, Mike Haslett, Dan Haslett, Christine Salvo, Jeremy Eklund, Jackie Kerr, Nicholas Brown, and Melissa Brown; and 10 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother, Don Clark of Oil City; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her first husband John G. Mylarski who died in October of 1945; seven brothers, Art Clark, Austie Clark, infant Donald Clark, Fred Clark, James Clark, Lendrum Clark, and Walter Clark; and six sisters, Alice McCauley, Arlene Clark, Margaret King, Geraldine Stadler, Pauline Gold, and Marie Welms.

Friends may call at the Morrison Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11 am with the Rev. Bruce Davis, officiating.

Interment will be in Lamey Cemetery.
