Clarion Man Swerves to Miss Deer; Slams into Utility Pole

HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (ETY) — Clarion-based State Police say a vehicle crashed into a utility pole around 7 a.m. on September 13 in Highland Township, Clarion County.

According to police, Joshua C. Williams, 20, of Clarion, was traveling west on McCleary Road near Reed Street when he allegedly swerved to the right to miss a deer.

Williams’ 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt then impacted a utility pole north of the roadway.

Williams was wearing a seat belt and suffered minor injuries in the crash.
