Clarion State Police Log: Gun Fired into Car, Crash on Route 68

Incidents responded to by Clarion-based State Police.

Car Collides with Deer on Route 68

Police say the crash occurred as a 2005 Hyundai XG350 collided with a deer while traveling on SR-68, approximately near Stoney Lonesome Road.

Minor damage was sustained to the front of the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

The name of the driver was not released.

Gun Fired into Car in Monroe Township

Police say unknown actor(s) discharged a firearm into an unoccupied vehicle along Huckleberry Ridge Road in Monroe Township on September 18. The actors then fled the scene undetected.

Police list the victim as a 54-year-old Sligo woman.

Gravel Stolen from Madison Twp. Building

Clarion-based State Police say someone stole an unknown amount of gravel from the Madison Township Building in Madison Township, Clarion County, on September 15. The investigation is ongoing.
