PAINT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 4:20 p.m. on September 19, a three-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 322, just west of Wolf’s Auto, in Paint Township, Clarion County.

Police say 89-year-old Louise N. Franklin, of Knox; 63-year-old Michael W. Seymour, of Martinsburg,; and 36-year-old Jawnee J. Leadbetter, of Cranberry, were involved in the collision.

The crash occurred as all vehicles were traveling west on SR 322.

Leadbetter, driving a 2006 Dodge Charger, came to a stop in a line of traffic, and a 1995 Toyota Camry, driven by Seymour, was behind the Dodge, slowly approaching it.

Franklin failed to stop, and her 2013 Subaru Legacy struck the Toyota and then the Toyota struck the Dodge.

All drivers and a passenger in Seymour’s vehicle — 66-year-old Constance M. Seymour, of Martinsburg, were using seat belts.

Franklin and Michael Seymour were not injured.

Shippenville EMS transported Leadbetter and Constance Seymour to Clarion Hospital for injuries of unknown severity.

Franklin was charged with a traffic violation.
