EMLENTON BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) — Franklin-based State Police say on September 27, a theft from a motor vehicle occurred at the Emlenton Bike Trail, in Emlenton Borough, Venango County.
According to police, sometime between 3:40 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. on September 27, an unknown perpetrator(s) cut the vinyl top of a 61-year-old Valencia woman’s vehicle.
The perpetrator(s) then smashed the right side passenger window to gain access to the inside of the victim’s vehicle and then removed a Curves clothing bag containing miscellaneous clothing items, police say.
The perpetrator(s) then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The total value of the stolen items was estimated at $150.00.
The total damages were estimated at $1,500.00.
