Barbara Joyce McMeans of Marianne Estates, Shippenville, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at her home.

Born on March 29, 1944 in Kittanning; she was the daughter of the late John and Julia Polinsky Wasilko.

Barbara was married on June 26, 1965 to Hunter M. McMeans, who preceded her in death on July 19, 2014.

She was the owner of Barbara McMeans Beauty Center.

Barbara was of the Catholic faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Dr. Juliana B. Berry and a son, Tyler H. McMeans, both of Las Vegas; two granddaughters, Anna and Julia Berry, both of Las Vegas.

Barbara is also survived by her dog, Juicy Couture and her cat, Miss Alice.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2014, at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home, 638 Wood Street, Clarion.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, September 29, 2014, in the funeral home with Elder’s Dennis and Leslie Stoddard, personal friends of family, officiating.

Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
