Police Seek Information on Hit-and-Run in Richland Township

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 11:15 p.m. on September 28, a hit and run accident occurred on Interstate 80 East, in Richland Township, Clarion County.

According to police, 25-year-old Erika Y. Hetzler, of Emlenton, was traveling east on I-80 in the right lane in a 2012 Ford Focus.

An unidentified commercial vehicle was traveling east on I-80 in the left lane in front on Hetzler and moved into the right lane in front of her Ford. The front portion of the Ford struck the rear portion of the unidentified vehicle, police say.

The Ford was disabled from the crash and came to a stop.

The unidentified vehicle continued traveling east on I-80.

Hetzler was using her seat belt and was not injured.

She was charged with a traffic violation.
