UPDATE: Officials Mum on Bomb Threat at Brookville High School

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Officials are keeping quiet on the details of a reported bomb threat at Brookville High School, Jefferson County, today.

Law enforcement and emergency personnel could be seen outside the school around 3:00 p.m.

As of 6:15 p.m., law enforcement and emergency personnel were still present on school grounds.

Sources say the school grounds were blocked off and authorities were observed scouring the area.

As of Friday evening, police have not issued any information indicating that a bomb had been found on school grounds.

Brookville Police refused to officially confirm the incident; however a representative stated “the incident is under investigation” during a call from exploreJeffersonPA.com.

No injuries have been reported.

Calls to Brookville School District were not immediately returned.

Tonight’s Keystone vs. Brookville high school football game has been rescheduled for Saturday at 1 p.m. at Brookville High School.
