20140930_152046Edna M. Ferringer Emery, 94, of Cochranton, died peacefully Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in the Park Avenue Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Meadville.

She was born September 4, 1920 in Callensburg, Clarion County a beloved daughter of the late: James and Sarah Wilson Ferringer.

Edna enjoyed singing, making others laugh and in her younger days playing the guitar quite well while singing and yodeling. She also made beautiful fresh pine Christmas wreaths every winter for family members and to sell. She liked to crochet and made dozens of doilies over the years. She loved flowers, especially the hanging flower baskets on her porch every summer.

She is survived by 7 sons and 3 daughters: Floyd Fulmer, Tony Fulmer, William (Bill) Fulmer, Bob Fulmer, Ted Fulmer, Ricky Tucker and Charles Tucker, Margaret (Peggy) DiElsie Johns, Katherine Fulmer and Jane McCracken. Also 19 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Edna was preceded in death by a son, Robert J. Black, a daughter, Mary Jean Sprohar, two brothers, Ira Ferringer and Eugene Ferringer, and five sisters, Grace Jones, Dorothy Greenwald, May Wayland, June Rhoades and Bernice Brown.

Friends and Family may call from 12 NOON until 2 PM Monday in the Timothy E. Hartle Funeral Home, 1328 Elk Street, Franklin.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2PM in the funeral home with burial to follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens, Cranberry Township.
