Car Slams into Tree off Route 208; Lickingville Teen Injured

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Marienville-based State Police, around 7:00 a.m. on October 3, a one-car accident occurred on State Route 208, 525 feet south of Hargenrader Lane, in Washington Township, Clarion County.

Police say 19-year-old Christopher A. Bellotti, of Lickingville, was traveling west on SR 208 and lost control of his 2001 Ford Taurus while negotiating a left turn in the roadway.

The car spun in a clockwise direction and traveled off the roadway for a distance of approximately 130 feet, then the rear bumper impacted a large tree, according to police.

Bellotti suffered minor injuries.

Clarion Hospital EMS transported him to Clarion Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

He was not using a seat belt.

The Ford sustained severe rear damage and was towed from the scene by Snyder’s Auto Body.

Bellotti was charged with a traffic violation.
