UPDATE: Multiple Companies Battle Fully-Engulfed Structure Fire on Pine City Road

VENUS, Pa. (EYT) – Emergency crews responded to the scene of a structure fire along Pine City Road in the Venus area early Sunday morning.

Firefighters from Pinegrove VFD and Washington Township VFD were called to the scene of a fully-engulfed structure fire shortly after Midnight Sunday in the area of 5623 Pine City Road, near the road’s intersection with County Line Road.

Crews from Shippenville, Knox, Farmington, Seneca, President, Cornplanter, Rockland, and Tionesta were dispatched to assist at the scene.

Crews remained on the scene until approximately 6:30 a.m.

Washington Township and Pinegrove responded again on Sunday when the fire rekindled and remained on the scene until around 3 p.m.

Sources say the structure is a complete loss.

No one was injured in the blaze.
