PAINT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — According to Clarion-based State Police, a two-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 322 (28th Division Highway), approximately 1/10 mile east of Willow Lane, in Paint Township, Clarion County.

Police say 31-year-old Christina A. Yaegle, of Pittsburgh, and 38-year-old Jaime L. Sherbine, of Leeper, were involved in the collision.

According to police, Sherbine was traveling east on SR 322 between its intersection with Willow Lane and Fiberboard Road.

She began to slow due to a car stopped in the eastbound lane waiting to turn across the westbound lane, and her 2008 Chevrolet Avalanch was struck from behind in the 12 o’clock position by a 1979 Ford Bronco, driven by Yaegle, with its 6 o’clock position.

Both vehicles then pulled over onto the right side of the roadway.

Yaegle and a three-year-old male passenger, of Pittsburgh, were using seat belts and were not injured.

Sherbine and a nine-year-old female passenger, of Leeper, were also using seat belts.

Sherbine was not injured; her passenger suffered minor injuries.

Shippenville Ambulance transported her to Clarion Hospital.

Yaegle was charged with a traffic violation.
