Leeper Man Injured in Accidental Shooting Involving Skunk

FARMINGTON TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Authorities in Clarion County say a Leeper man was injured as a result of an accidental shooting last night in Farmington Township.

Marienville-based State Police say the incident occurred around 8 p.m. when a 67-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the left shoulder with a 9mm pistol while attempting to shoo a skunk out of his yard.

Police say the man drove himself to Clarion Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

No foul play is suspected.

Police say the investigation is complete.
