Police Investigating Identity Theft in RedBank Township

REDBANK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) — Clarion-based State Police say around 1:00 p.m. on October 11, an incident of Identity Theft occurred on Swede Hollow Road, in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

According to police, a 28-year-old Fairmount City woman was called by First Financial Credit Card Company from California advising her that she was approved for her credit card.

The victim advised the credit card company that she did not apply for the credit card and that someone must have used her information, police say.

The incident is under investigation.
