Robert W. Wright

Robert W. Wright, 73, of Cochranton, died Monday October 13, 2014, at Meadville Medical Center.

Born, June 23 1941 in Franklin, he was the son of Joseph and Alice M. Deeter Wright.

He married Della Weaver on June 1, 1962 and she survives.

Bob graduated from Franklin High School and worked at Coinco Inc. as a tool maker from 1965 until he retired in 2004.

He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and working on his farm with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed watching all kinds of sports on the television and could often be seen supporting various high school sporting events.

Some of his favorite times were watching the various 4H cattle shows in which his grandchildren participated.

In addition to his wife of 52 years he is survived by his children, Jeffrey Wright and his wife Kelly of Cochranton, Scott Wright and his wife Laura of Cambridge Springs, Kevin Wright and his wife Kimberly of Cochranton and Stacy Childress and her husband Red of Warren. Nine grandchildren, Lindsey, Emily, Sydney, Sarah, Matt, Jacob, Taylor, Riley and Cole, a brother Lester Wright and his wife Nancy of Cochranton and his cat Marbles.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Wilkinson.

Friends will be received at the Dickson Family Funeral Home, Inc. 123 S. Franklin St. Cochranton on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday from the funeral home with the Rev. Adam Almaroad of the McDaniel’s Corners Bible Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Peters Cemetery, Canal Township, Venango County.
