MARIENVILLE, Pa. — Marienville Fire Department visited East Forest Elementary School on Friday, October 10, as part of Fire Prevention Week. Volunteer firefighters spoke to students in grades Pre-K through 6th.
Students learned about the equipment firefighters use and had the opportunity explore the one of the fire trucks.
The firefighters also explained the importance of knowing what to do in emergency situations.
