CONNEAUT LAKE, Pennsylvania — Conneaut Lake celebrated its annual pumpkin fest by dropping a 1,200-pound pumpkin 125 feet onto a delivery truck.
The Conneaut Lake Park Pumpkin Festival held its pumpkin drop Saturday, destroying a retired delivery truck by dropping the massive 1,200-pound gourd from a height of 125 feet.
The drop is an annual tradition for the festival, which previously saw the destruction of a school bus when a giant pumpkin was dropped from a crane in 2010.
